Amsterdam My city My life, 2020 is here a new decade as began, lots of new wishes for a great year.

The visit of my nephew was very good for me, it was nice to see how he is growing and happy to hear of the choices he is making in life.

My health is good at the moment the ups and downs of 2019 are history now.

In 2019 I managed to do a lot, the hi-lights were my trip to France and the small trips here in the Netherlands.

Was nice to visit the Rijks museum for the Rembrandt and Velasquez exibition also the Frans Halls and the Teylers museum  in Haarlem, the Voorlinden and Mauritshuis in Den Haag 

Some trips are in the plans for this year I can't wait.

I will keep using the camera to capture special and exciting moments.

  Day visit to Rotterdam 

It as been been a while since I was in Rotterdam I was surprised how much as changed 

My nephew Iuri was visiting for the christmas and new year he as been to Amsterdam before 

was great fun showing him some new places here in the Netherlands 

It was also great to take the camera with me and make some new photos with my Nikon

I was doing some myself out and about exploring and lots of pin ball lovely Elvira Mistress of the dark 

today was a hot day tomorrow we will see, would be nice to go out on gaivota

for a few hours, maybe someone will join me

Poirot is playing on the video an old one Sir Peter Alexander Ustinov playing the famous sleuth 

almost 2am bars are closing we can hear the people going home

Weekend is here there is a mid august chill in the air not yet the end of summer but its starting to cool down 

Sister came to visit from LA 12 days was good to catch up and spend time with family 

i am keeping myself busy with work and domestics not long to go before my birthday arrives 

no plans yet maybe skip this one altogether 

in the green theme i made a few iPhotos from around the city on my way back from the market today 

i had not smoked for over 4 months but I smoked one today i feel a bit disappointed for caving in

but i needed to step out from sobriety for a minute

Summer is going well I have been very busy with real life stuff 

 working and living friends visiting lots of food mostly I cook no complain there 

rainy days hot days humid days I had boat trips city walks mostly shopping buying organic well I try to 

gay pride went by dancing drinking wishful thinking a lot senior pride on a Thursday on

Nieumarkt in front of de Waag was special had lots of fun with locals some good friends as well 

its cold today it rained a lot but also lots of sun typical Amsterdam day I have a few photos to show special moments

Nothing like taking gaivota on a trip around the canals of Amsterdam 

on a sunny spring day

This Spring I took 2 weeks of free time and went to visit France Loire region with my friends Joao and Alain 

exactly 10 years earlier the 3 of us visited this region it was a great experience and this second time was equally gratifying 

the area is so beautiful and full of nature, was great to visit small villages and chateau's lots of fabulous gardens and a surprising 

amount of art 

I will post some of the hi-lights impossible to post all of it because once again I went crazy with the nikkon and took thousands 

of pictures its friday here in Amsterdam the weekend is approaching hopefully the sun will keep shinning
